Super Antojitos: Experience Authentic Mexican Flavors in Orange, CA

Stopped in for a mid afternoon snack and beer. Micheladas were good, tostada and chile relleno were excellent. Service was good. Definitely coming back for a full meal soon.

We decided to check the restaurant out because it was walking distance from our airbnb. We are so glad we did! In 4 days in California we ate here twice because the food was so good. The chef took time to talk with us about her recipes and her love of both food and hospitality was undeniable. As if the food wasn’t good enough the atmosphere encouraged a wonderful sense of family that was priceless. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We were in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. The exterior and interior of the building look a bit run down, but it is in a historic area. Don't let this keep you away. The service was very good, and the server was very attentive and pleasant. The molé was delicious. It was spiced differently than I'm accustomed to, but I really liked it. My sister had enchiladas and really liked them, but again the sauce was different than she expected, but liked it. We ordered chips and guacamole and chips and they brought about a cup of guacamole with the chips! It was delicious! The complimentary chips and salsa were good but the chips weren't fresh. The portions were large. The server said that everything is homemade. The decor and music are authentic. A lovely family restaurant I'd gladly eat at again.

I think the pictures I added speak for themselves, haha! My family and I stayed in an Air BnB directly adjacent to the restaurant and that in itself was worth every penny we paid! My mom, brother, and I came for dinner here after Disney with the kids and WHAT a treat and opportunity to wind down it was! The service was fast, friendly, and professional, and the atmosphere was perfect for sitting, talking, and enjoying well-made food! I would absolutely recommend the enchiladas or the Chimichanga :) Thank you Super Antojitos, I will be back!

Overall good, but I have some critiques. We saw the Chapman burrito on YouTube shorts and had to check it out. The burrito is very good, although not the best I’ve had. It was tasty and a decent size for the price. The lengua taco was also good. The meat was tender and flavorful. A bit expensive to pay $5 for one taco. In the YouTube short, it said the chips, salsa, and beans they bring you as an appetizer is free. And it is the first time, but if you order more it’s all extra. The waiters should make that clear when you ask. This was deceiving. The chips were good, the salsa had complex flavor and was pretty spicy. The beans were served cold and don’t have great flavor

Excellent service. Very attentive and helpful. The food by and large was very tasty. Ample in portion, a little high in price, but worth it. I wanted to try the carne en su jugo but it was sold out. So I tried the huge Chapman burrito. It was very good, ample meat and not filled with fillers like rice and beans. It comes on a cast iron hot plate and is smothered in a cheese sauce. A hint of spice but very well flavored. The free chips, salsa and refried beans are good. The salsa is a little spicy but complex in a good way. The beans were good and a different type of appetizer, if you haven’t been to Guadalajara or some parts of Northern Mexico where this is a typical appetizer, it may seem odd. My colleagues enjoyed the barbacoa, fajitas, and Chapman burrito. The drinks were good and ambiance nice. I plan to return.

Super Antojitos is a hidden restaurant gem in Orange. This place brings Jaliscos amazing flavor it's cuisine. Laura and staff were great. I recomend anyone that loves mexican Jalisco style food to go and pay them a visit. It was our first time and will definately be back soon.

Probably one of the best burritos ever had. Staff is super friendly and place has great atmosphere! Definitely can’t wait to come back here!
